Have any of you ever implemented a solution where you can issue multiple unit of measures from a single DC - thus some of the stores order a product in base unit (each) and other sites order the same product in order unit case from the same DC?
If you've implemented such a solution, what is the steps to achieve that?

Hey Guys,
Our current organisation, we have 3 level merchandise hierarchy which was typically created based on experience and business. Now the management has decided to move the current Merchandise hierarchy to AC Nielsen standard hierarchy.
i would like to know how this would be done from SAP system stand point, and what are the steps involved in it and considerations for risks in it, also please let me know if there is sap note on this for me to help on this.

Hello all,
While trying to create Generic Articles master using LSMW idoc ARTMAS05, I am getting an error message 'The generic article could not be created as a class'. I am trying to create 2 variants and have filled up the corresponding characteristics segment. I am able to do it manually using MM41.

I have a requirement for POSDM relating to the timing of the goods issue posting in ECC. When a customer comes to the store to buy an article, the articles are sometimes not ready to be picked up when the customer places the order. They generally need to go to another store/lab/vendor and be created/adjusted/manufactured.
Presently, we consume (goods issue) the inventory on the article right when the customer pays (i.e. Aug 1st). We want to wait until the customer actually receives the article, either pick up or delivery (i.e. Aug 5th), to consume the articles (i.e. 251 goods issue. We need to do this because early consumption affects the planning at the stores. In Summary, we want the Goods Issue in ECC to occur on Aug 5th, not on Aug 1st.
Ideally, we'd like an option with least impact on the existing systems and would like to minimize customizations. Looking forward to your thoughts.

I have created release strategy with out classification for the purchase requisition doc, the steps are attached here, the release strategy is not getting triggered at the time of creation of purchase requisition doc, kindly help me to resolve the issue.
I have firstly executed the setup procedure without classification in the purchase requisition tab,
1. maintained the release code
2. maintained the release indicators
3.the release indicator is assigned to Release code
4. The release points prerequisites are maintained
5. The release strategy is determined
6. The Over all release for purchase requisition is not maintained at doc type level.
7. The purchase requisition is created
But the release strategy is not getting triggered at item level in the purchase requisition doc.

Does anyone have knowledge on the inbound queuing functionality that relates to POSDM Tlog (e.g. transactions /posdw/qmon, /posdw/qdis)? From what I have heard this will be useful in reducing development costs and improving processing efficiency. However, before investigating on system I would like to have a clear idea of its requirements, functionality and limitations.

I want to know how the cross docking functionality is handled in SAP F&R.
Whether I should give RP type 11 in store level and RP type 01/02 in DC level for these cross docking products?
Whether anyone has done the dynamic allocation functionality for cross docking products in which there should be an option to send the latest Order proposal values to ECC from SAP F&R so that STO s can be done with those new OP values?

The client is currently running on sap 4.7 system . It wants to upgrade to SAP IS Retail ECC 6.0
Following two options are there:
1. Upgrade 4.7 to ECC 6.0 and then activate the switch
2. Activate the switch first in ECC 6.0 and then do the data migration and re configurations.
Please suggest the ideal appraoch.
Also what impact will it have if have the switch on upgraded manufacturing system.
Require it urgently.

I am very new to SAP F&R and working in a project. As per a requirement, We have to upload Forecast data in SAP F&R system for fashion articles we have to build the forecast outside the system and need to load it in F&R and run the replenishment.
Can anyone please tell me whether it is possible to upload forecast data in SAP F&R. If possible how we can upload from BI/Excel sheet.
We added a new tax to our materials, but in the idoc is not showing.
Segment E1WPA07 is only showing the tax code that was already configured.
Where can I check why the new tax code is not printing in the idoc WP_PLU with transaction WPMA.

Hello Expert,
I create a normal purchase order with generic article and variants.
Then, I do goods receipt with full quantity.
Delivery completed indicator is automatic set 'X' on variant items.
But with generic article, Delivery completed indicator is not set 'X'.
Do I miss any configuration ?

Hi Experts,
I have the following problem:
My IS Retail Client have websites stores where customer place orders. When customers confirms their order, the payment is checked, then two things happen:
1. Triggers the picking and sending of stock from de DC or store near to the customer if they select an option "click & Collect"
2.The sale is process into a SAP via the POS interface for the store.
The problem is my client can't report on their online sales as it just blends in with every other store POS Sale.
They want a new distribution chain for online store but we are nervous about needing to duplicate master data into this new Distribution Chain.
I have been doing some testing with a new DChain but seems to be like I have to extend all of articles to this new Dchain and that's something the client doesn't want to do.
Any recommendation?
