We have assigned the article to the class type and class in CL24N, But when we try to create the batch in MSC1N, it is throwing an error,
Can any one help in solving the above error, Please tell if we are missing any pre-requisites

Hi All,
We are using SAP IS retail. We already have two DCs set up and functioning in SAP and now we need to set up the third one.
High level Process flow would be -
1. New DC set up
2. Transfer of articles from old DC to new DC or initial upload of inventory
3. Independent functioning of new DC.
Can you please help me with what all things do I need to do in SAP to achieve this?
I have below steps in mind:
1. create a new site using WB01 - assign all org elements and MC. (we just have one MC)
2. create storage location in config for this site.
3. update assortment using WSOA2 - add new DC as assortment user (we are not using assortment module/ want to list all existing articles to new DC)
4. while updating assortment, execute the listing job in background.
5. For initial inventory setup, there are two approaches that I am thinking of -
a. 301 movement to transfer inventory from old DC to new DC (BDC or LSMW) - DCs are nearby. With this option, I don't need to maintain MAP before I move inventory. System will calculate MAP for articles in new DC.
b. 551 transaction (scrap / we call it as adjust out) from old DC and 561 (initial upload) into new DC.
Let me know if this is the correct approach?
One more question, when I do listing to new DC by changing assortment (step 3), system will only list the articles to new DC, but how can I update MAP for these articles if I have to, before moving inventory in?

We added a new tax to our materials, but in the idoc is not showing.
Segment E1WPA07 is only showing the tax code that was already configured.
Where can I check why the new tax code is not printing in the idoc WP_PLU with transaction WPMA.

Hi,
Previously, when I save the site master with transport request problem. So only part of the site master is save. But after apply the note in system. This problem is solved.
However, due to previous problem, when I using WB02 to change site master 0002, error message "customer 0002 is not maintained" But I cannot create new site with "0002". pls advice how can I solve this problem

When we post a sale in WPER we are getting an error saying "Enter Batch XXXXXXXX". I have that article batch managed and I have done the below steps.. but still I am getting this error.
1. Created a Characteristic via CT04 for batch handling in the search strategy with class type "23"table name "MCHA" and field name "CHARG". If you are working with fixed value of batches, define it as the characteristic values or if you have batches creating internally by the system, Put a * in it.
2. Created a class in CL02 with class type "23" and assign this newly created characteristic to it.
3. created a sort rule in CU70 and assign this same characteristic to it and select the ascending or desending check box based upon your choice of "FIFO" or "LIFO".
4. created a new strategy for batch determination while doing different inventory movements. Go to Logistics General Batch Management Batch Determination & Batch Check Strategy Types Define Inventory Management Strategy Type. Copy the standard one and create one for you and assign the class and sort sequence created above to it and define the number of spilts of batches, should happen, if in case one batch is insufflcient to handle the required movement of stock. maximum it could be 999.
5. created batch search procedure definition. Go to Logistics General Batch Management Batch Determination & Batch Check Batch Search Procedure Definition Define Inventory Management Search Procedure. Copy the standard one and create one for you and assign the condiiton type created in the step above (strategy) and save it.
6. assigned the class created above to all the relevant article via CL20N.
7. assigned batch search procedure to the relevant movement types. Go to transaction OMCG and assign the mvt type 301, 311 and other relevant movement types.
8. Maintained the condition record for the Batch Search Strategy via MBC1 / MBC2.
9. Activated Batch classification for goods movements via OMCV as per choice.
10. Thru WE19 posted one WPUBON
11. Still I am getting the error " enter batch"

I try to create allocation table from DC to store, with item category C. But when i save the allocation table, it keep said below msg. But XXX already with vendor master. Also the store also assign supply site. Any idea why with this msg? Thanks

Initially I have uploaded all the articles externally through one custom upload program, in that time, no. range of article was defined external assignment. Approx 2 Lacs articles got uploaded. Now I have changed the number range assignment from external to internal and also updated current number status with the last generated article number from list.
Now I am able to use MM41 t.code to create article master and system is taking article number internally. Once I save the MM41 t.code then getting message "article is created".
When I am displaying/changing the same article which is created through MM43/MM42 then getting error message "The Article XXXXXX does not exist or is not activated".
Please help me...why i am getting error message.

Hi,
we have a scenario where we create a STO in SAP and details sent to external system for pick, pack and shipping the goods and we will recive the information frm external system. We are using IDOC type Delvry07, please let us know whether it is possible to create a OBD and do PGI with the same IDOC with reference to STO.

We are using WDBU_HPR to send article changes to POS system, everything is working fine, however, the program is not sending deleted article via WSE1.
FYI: WDBU program is able to send deleted article, however, the live system is designed to work with WDBU_HPR.
Based on note 1590819, WDBU_HPR is able to send deleted article.
Appreciate if anyone can help.

Please let me know is SAP is creating new state code to identify the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh state to two independent states - Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. How will I create the new plant in the newly created state for which there is no state code is available in SAP?

The client is currently running on sap 4.7 system . It wants to upgrade to SAP IS Retail ECC 6.0
Following two options are there:
1. Upgrade 4.7 to ECC 6.0 and then activate the switch
2. Activate the switch first in ECC 6.0 and then do the data migration and re configurations.
Please suggest the ideal appraoch.
Also what impact will it have if have the switch on upgraded manufacturing system.
Require it urgently.

Hi All,
I am getting this error MH084 in my system when I use MM42/MM43 tcode. Article used is single article and has MARA view already created.
2 articles with same merch cat were created on the same day, one works fine and the other one is giving the above error.
We are currently in SAP ECC release 604. How do we fix the article data ?

There is a field 'Issuing Storage Location DC (Delivery)' (AUPO-LGORT) under the tab Documents in Allocation Table Item Details. Does anyone know how to use it? Can the system pick this Issuing Storage Location to STO Item when generate STO from Allocation Table?

I just created some characteristics and added some values to them, through the "new" WRFCHVAL T-code, and I would like to know how to access results based on these values I created. I'll try to explain myself a little better:
Imagine I have some generic materials created and that they're all t-shirts. Then, I created the characteristics "Size" and "Colour" and I created some variants based on the possible values of these characteristics (size numebrs and different colours).
Now let's say I wanna access sales results and filter them by Size, in example. Where can I see things this way? Is there a way to search for every "Red" t-shirt in the system? For example, is there any way to find in MM60 all the articles created that are Size 40, for example?
