How to block material/article from future purchasing

Hello SAP Experts.

 

 

Can u tell me or guide me how to block material/article in SAP for Retail from future purchasing orders. Manager decided stop buying specific article from vendors but there is some more in stock. So we need to block it only from purchasing, but this article should be available for movements and sales.


Also this artilce should be abvailable for VKP5 transaction.

 

What we do - deleteing inforecords with ME15 transation. But then when manager use VKP5 transation new  retail price is 0,10 (i guess because all info records deleted and "0.10" is initial value.

 

SO, what is the most correct way of blocking articles from purchasing?

How can I get the other standard programs available for POS DM?

POSDM Pipe - Inbound Queue Processing

Hi,

 

Does anyone have knowledge on the inbound queuing functionality that relates to POSDM Tlog (e.g. transactions /posdw/qmon, /posdw/qdis)? From what I have heard this will be useful in reducing development costs and improving processing efficiency. However, before investigating on system I would like to have a clear idea of its requirements, functionality and limitations.

Creation of data in MLGN and MLGT

Hi,

I had 2 DC/warehouse in operation.

When a new article is being created, I insert the reference DC on the initial screen in MM41.

When it branched into the Logistic DC view and then into "Warehouse Management", I had to setup the data for the 2 DC one after another.

 

On the other hand, when I am in Logistic Store view, I do not have to setup the data for every stores. I need to do so at the sales orgn/DC level.
by leaving the site number as NULL. This will populate and create a record for each site under the sales orgn/DC.

 

How can I do so for the DC warehouse management data?

I need a shorter route when creating new article for the 2 DC.

Bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh state to two independent states - Telangana and Andhra Pradesh

Hi,

 

This is regarding bifurcation of Indian  Andhra Pradesh state to two independent states - Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

Please let me know is SAP is creating new state code to identify the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh state to two independent states - Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. How will I create the new plant in the newly created state for which there is no state code is available in SAP?

Site master - customer XXX not maintained

Hi,

 

Previously, when I save the site master with transport request problem. So only part of the site master is save. But after apply the note in system. This problem is solved.

However, due to previous problem, when I using WB02 to change site master 0002, error message "customer 0002 is not maintained" But I cannot create new site with "0002". pls advice how can I solve this problem

WSOA1: Mass assignment of customers to Assortment User

Hi All,

 

I have recently started working with IS-R and want to know the following.

 

I'm working on setting up of outbound pricat functionality for our wholesale customers.

With transaction WSOA1 I am able to manually assign customer numbers under "assortment users".

But this actvity is manual.

 

I want to know if there is a mass change transaction in IS-R or a way to assign multiple customers to an assortment?

WSS1 Ref site Vs REFSITE Ref site

Hi All,

 

I have few questions related to config and master data. I read lot of threads and help documentation, but still struggling to understand.

 

What is the functional difference between reference site/DC maintained in WSS1 and reference site maintained in REFSITE ?

 

What happens when we maintain reference site using REFSITE for 1. assortment 2. Logistics and Replenishment 3. Purchasing?

 

What is the best way to list and extend (to MARC,MBEW etc.) the existing article to new DC when we have below settings (current client settings):

one company code with two sites/DC (third one will be the new one), no stores, one distribution chain, one MC, one general assortment with reference site RS00 assigned, reference site RS00 maintained for assortment in REFSITE for existing two DCs, no reference DC in WSS1,.

WPUUMS Error - There is at least one sales item with a material number (HW 825870)

Hi,

 

I am getting below error while executing the WPUUMS IDOC.

 

"There is at least one sales item with a material number (HW 825870)"

 

I have verified the set up/configuration and also tried with many articles, but no clue on the error message.

Anyone have idea about this issue solving?

Maintenance status in allocation table for Article

Hi,

 

I have created the allocation table via a custom programme.

 

Now for few articles the maintenance status is coming as '4' i.e. incomplete. I have checked the listing and source of supply for are fine.

 

Articles with status 4 , i am not able to create po, hence i would like to know what are the other steps that needs to be checked in this case.

How to add Article Image in article master Data?

Hi Gurus,

 

I am trying to add Article image in master data, i have activated the subscreen and able to fetch the image if i save it in the local system, but i am not able to fetch the image if i save it in the sap server or any content server location , can you please help on this?

SAP IS Retail Switch on manufacturing system

Hi ,

 

We have a scenario.

 

The client is currently running on sap 4.7 system . It wants to upgrade to SAP IS Retail ECC 6.0

 

Following two options are there:

 

1. Upgrade 4.7 to ECC 6.0 and then activate the switch

2. Activate the switch first in ECC 6.0 and then do the data migration and re configurations.

 

Please suggest the ideal appraoch.

 

Also  what impact will it have if have the switch on upgraded manufacturing system.

 

Require it urgently.

IS-Reail: BAPI_MATERIAL_MAINTAINDATA_RT

Hello,

 

I am trying ot create a new article (material) by using BAPI_MATERIAL_MAINTAINDATA_RT. Is that the right BAPI to do this?

 

The material get's created, but if I try to change it in MM42 I get the following error message:

 

Message no. MH084:

Assignment of article to merch. catgry missing in classification system

 

How can I resolve this error? The customizuing seams to be ok; create an article in MM41 works fine.

Question on SAP PMR 8.0

I'm trying to upload image files from ECC system to PMR system. We have recently installed PMR 8.0.

Completed the configuration. I used se38 transaction to upload the image file using either through function module

ZIMAGE_UPLOAD_MIME or /DMF/IMAGE_IMPORT. I would see the image in staging table. While processing the inbound staging tables

getting an error "Mandatory field MD SYSTEM missing for ext_image_id STRAWBERRY" and  "Reference  to master data system is invalid"

Could you please help me in getting this error resolved.
