I am adding transaction types in pipe engine settings to include new events like day open,day close etc.These events when updated into table through standard badi ,will they be brought down to bi only through standard pos analytics datasources provided or they need to extended by creating new datasources?can someone please shed some lights on

We have a scenario.
The client is currently running on sap 4.7 system . It wants to upgrade to SAP IS Retail ECC 6.0
Following two options are there:
1. Upgrade 4.7 to ECC 6.0 and then activate the switch
2. Activate the switch first in ECC 6.0 and then do the data migration and re configurations.
Please suggest the ideal appraoch.
Also what impact will it have if have the switch on upgraded manufacturing system.
Require it urgently.

Previously, when I save the site master with transport request problem. So only part of the site master is save. But after apply the note in system. This problem is solved.
However, due to previous problem, when I using WB02 to change site master 0002, error message "customer 0002 is not maintained" But I cannot create new site with "0002". pls advice how can I solve this problem

Does anyone have knowledge on the inbound queuing functionality that relates to POSDM Tlog (e.g. transactions /posdw/qmon, /posdw/qdis)? From what I have heard this will be useful in reducing development costs and improving processing efficiency. However, before investigating on system I would like to have a clear idea of its requirements, functionality and limitations.

I developped an LSMW to upload customers using DEBMAS06.
I've an issue because I have to create a customer and extend him to others sales organization but I don't know how to repeat a segment with its child segment. I used "transfer_record" on E1KNVVM and E1KNVIM but i have this:

- E1KNVIM
I want
E1KNVVM - E1KNVIM
E1KNVVM - E1KNVIM
Can you tell me if i can create and extend a customer in the same Idoc. If not, have you an idea about create a customer with one line of my source file and extend him with an other knowing you don't know what's your customer KUNNR before create him.

As a newbee in Retail, I am not sure what is the best choise: To use the Retail Solution Map (http://esworkplace.sap.com), use the Value Map (https://rapid.sap.com/se/executive#!/vlm/i_retail/vlm-i_retail-ind~~.~~i_retail) or downloading the SAP Best Practice for Retail and install int Solution Manager.

I just created some characteristics and added some values to them, through the "new" WRFCHVAL T-code, and I would like to know how to access results based on these values I created. I'll try to explain myself a little better:
Imagine I have some generic materials created and that they're all t-shirts. Then, I created the characteristics "Size" and "Colour" and I created some variants based on the possible values of these characteristics (size numebrs and different colours).
Now let's say I wanna access sales results and filter them by Size, in example. Where can I see things this way? Is there a way to search for every "Red" t-shirt in the system? For example, is there any way to find in MM60 all the articles created that are Size 40, for example?

I have got an Articel in the exclusion module with a validaty period during which it will not be listed for the assortments to which the exclusion module is assigned. Under a specific business case (Eg., During STO creation process), I have a requirment to list the Article in the exclusion module inside the validity period, Is there a way in S.A.P to do this ? I am working on the EWM scenario and have come across an error "Form of address 0003 not designated for persons"/ "Form of address 0002 not designated for organization" when I try to use transaction CFM3 to activate an Integration Model in the Retail system. In this IM I am sending Article, Site, Vendor & Customer.
I understand that the issue is related to the Vendor and Customer, address, for which I am trying to create a Business Partner and Location in the EWM system.
I have tried changing the Title to Company and Mr./Ms. But the error still persists.
Could anyone please advice?

When we create article is SAP Retail, we list it by executing listing. Could you please tell me how the listing is done, how the assortments are identified and listing is done for certain site and DCs. I am very confused regarding this.
