we are listing materials by wsm3.if we are adding new site to assortment, again do listing on a site by wsm3, the article is listed (records found in Table WLK1) but MARC entry is not getting updated. system version :SAP ECC 6.0 EHP6.

In Migo, our users scrap articles using movements 551/552 together with a specific reason code. The GL account differs depending on what reason code is selected. I need to change the GL account for one of these reason for movements, but cannot see exactly how to do this. I can see the account modifiers in OMJJ and GL assignment in OBYC and have run a simulation in OMWB, but it looks to me to relate to the movement type and not the specific reason code.
I am quite new to this area and would really appreciate some guidance on how to change a GL account for a specific reason for movement.

I am trying to upload Merchandise category and hierarcy using LSMW (BAPI/IDOC method only).
For merhcandise category
I used message type W_WGRP and it is helping me in changing or reclassification of articles. But I am not able to create new merchandise category with this. I used structure E1BPE1WGR01 with "function" field with value "005, LSMW is working fine idocs are created successfully but no new Merc Cat is created.
When I used same structure with "function" field with value "009" I get error message "Class XXX does not exist or or is not valid on this date".
For Merchandise Catrgory Hierarchy
I used idoc CLSMAS but getting error message "Keyword missing for class XXX"
has anybody uploded entire hierarchy structure using LSMW ?

Here comes a technical requirement in POSDM due to POS functionality constraint.
Client wants to perform transaction receipt number gap check and duplicate check. My understanding is that POSDM would perform these checking for only one POS transaction type (in this case, say for example, all sales transactions) and will not perform this gap check together with other transactions. (say if i only assign the tasks for checking to the sales POS transaction)
However, client's POS will transfer all types of transactions (including sales, z-read, login, logoff, etc) using THE SAME sequence, meaning the transactions can be like below:
#001: sales
#002: customer return
#003: login
#004: product enquiry
#005: sales
Are there any way / configuration that I can use to fulfill this requirement?

Does anyone have knowledge on the inbound queuing functionality that relates to POSDM Tlog (e.g. transactions /posdw/qmon, /posdw/qdis)? From what I have heard this will be useful in reducing development costs and improving processing efficiency. However, before investigating on system I would like to have a clear idea of its requirements, functionality and limitations.

The client is currently running on sap 4.7 system . It wants to upgrade to SAP IS Retail ECC 6.0
Following two options are there:
1. Upgrade 4.7 to ECC 6.0 and then activate the switch
2. Activate the switch first in ECC 6.0 and then do the data migration and re configurations.
Please suggest the ideal appraoch.
Also what impact will it have if have the switch on upgraded manufacturing system.
Require it urgently.

When we create article is SAP Retail, we list it by executing listing. Could you please tell me how the listing is done, how the assortments are identified and listing is done for certain site and DCs. I am very confused regarding this.

We have installed SAP ERP 6 EHP7 with ABAP and Java stack on Solaris with oracle DB. Now when we trying to access the SRS Retail store we are getting the below error.

I am in need of report in bi which reflects pay in, pay out, safe drop, safe withdrawal etc.
from pi -> posdm , standard create_ext proxy is used.There are nearly 4 data sources like 0RT_PA_TRAN_MOV_FIN, 0RT_PA_TRAN_CONTROL,0RT_PA_TRAN_TOTALS,0RT_PA_TRAN_GDS_MOV have been used in current system.
Transaction types are already created and mapped from pi.
I just want to create new cube on top of any datasource to build report on it.Can anyone suggest which datasource has to be used for this type of report and what basis the proxy splits data to these datasources?
I am not sure whether anyone among these two can be used( 0RT_PA_TRAN_CONTROL,0RT_PA_TRAN_MOV_FIN) or it s purely random choice

Can somebody distinguish the differences between the Article Hierarchy and Merchandise Categotry? Which one is better to use? Both seems to have a similiar functionality but why SAP had proposed Article hierarchy and Merchandise category seperately?

Currently when we need to add a Article/ Material to the Assortment Module, we require to go to WSO2 and enter the releavnt Article/Material in the list manually and Save it.
Can any one let me know whether there is a T code which i can update the Data as a MASS.
i tried to create a LSMW, but it does not work as i need to scroll down to the Last row to add the Article and there is no option of add the article without scroll down.
So can any one please help me

Change pointers for WPDBBY message type :I did few steps in the below sequence.
1. Activated Message Type in BD50
2. In BD52 given the object name, Table name and Field name ( Which I will be changing the field )
4. When I execute the report RBDMIDOC and entered the message type,
I get error message " Message type WPDBBY cannot be sent with change pointers."
I have maintained the same for Article Master (WP_PLU) and Price Master (Cond_A) , both are working fine. I want to generate the Promotion Master also using RDBMIDOC.
Kindly guide me to approach the same.

I just created some characteristics and added some values to them, through the "new" WRFCHVAL T-code, and I would like to know how to access results based on these values I created. I'll try to explain myself a little better:
Imagine I have some generic materials created and that they're all t-shirts. Then, I created the characteristics "Size" and "Colour" and I created some variants based on the possible values of these characteristics (size numebrs and different colours).
Now let's say I wanna access sales results and filter them by Size, in example. Where can I see things this way? Is there a way to search for every "Red" t-shirt in the system? For example, is there any way to find in MM60 all the articles created that are Size 40, for example?

For doing consignment stock transfer, what are the settings required. I didn't find the field "consignemnt control" at logistics data of article master even after activating the consignment process at customizing.
At the time of creation of consignment STO, where to give this process is relevent to consignemnt process...?
How this process works...
